The project of teaching children to love grown-ups classical music.

“The idea of a classical music festival dedicated to children springs from the wish to offer the little ones an occasion to approach the language of notes, with the intention of creating a place and a moment suitable for their ability to understand and  for their attention span.”

 

From November 2017 to May 2018 Baby Bofe’ in Bologna (for children 3 to 11 years of age), in the main theatres of the city: Teatro Comunale, Teatro Il Celebrazioni, Teatro Antoniano, Teatro del Dipartimento delle Arti – University of Bologna.

Many evenings dedicated to shows devised and performed live, accompanied by a theatre play, with proposals including Opera, Symphony and Jazz.

A “group” formed by young talented musicians or by artists with a solid experience (like the Corus and the Orchestra of Teatro Comunale di Bologna) will face a very particular and demanding audience: children.

For theatrical aspect Bologna Festival avails itself of the collaboration of theatre companies with a long standing experience in youth theatre.

Among the shows of this year “La Bohème” by Puccini (in small format) at Teatro Comunale and the show “La casa dei suoni”, play written by Claudio Abbado and performing voice by Rita Savagnone.
