Baked hot dogs with cheese and speck.

Second to last day of September and a longing for a tasty dish.

Speck-wrapped hot dogs with a heart of melted cheese.

Tasty and very quick to make.

To cook them in a different way.


Ingredients for two people:

4 Wudy Pork AIA frankfurters

4 thin slices of Gruyère cheese (or another similar hard cheese you like)

4 speck slices



– First of all preheat oven to 200c.

– In the meantime  prepare the frankfurters cutting them long way without separating them into halves.

– Cut the cheese into strips and put them inside the frankfurters.

– Wrap the speck slices around them and put them in an oven pan covered with baking paper.

– Cook for about twenty minutes and serve them hot.
