Corn dog. The frankfurter in batter, a classic of the american street food.

Today I was really craving them.

And if you have to do something, do it well!

Try them for a tasty appetizer with your friends and… Enjoy.

Ingredients:

6 Wudy Classico AIA frankfurters

30g flour 00

100g milk at room temperature

75g cornmeal

Baking soda

Sugar

1 egg

Sweet paprika

Salt

Seed oil for frying

Prepare the batter in a bowl combining flour 00 and cornmeal (this will make them extra crunchy).

Put a little salt in it and add a spoon of sugar, paprika and baking soda.

Mix carefully with a whisk and pour the milk at room temperature and the whole egg.

You should get a rather thick mixture.

In the meantime, cut the frankfurters long way into halves and insert wooden skewers into them.

Roll them in flour first, then in batter.

Preheat seed oil in a saucepan, do the toothpick test and fry until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Drain on paper towels and serve them hot, along with the sauces you prefer.
