New openings in Milan for spring 2018

From a storm with a cold wind to some sunny and hot days, this spring in Milan have opened a lot of new restaurants.

Here, some of the more interesting ones:

LOCANDA PERBELLINI (Milano, via della Moscova 25)

Giancarlo Perbellini (2 michelin stars in his restaurant in Verona), open his bistrot with a menu that offers some iconic dishes of the milanese’s tradition with other recipes that celebrate the quality of the whole Italy raw materials.

Aesthetic maximization, retelling of some recipes and consistences, fresh and simple flavors. Any examples?

Fassona’ s raw meat with Modena’s vinegar, carbonara’s salad , Milanese with bean’s flour.

Small portions, to have the chance to taste everything.

For the sweets menu: a funny origami!

LA TORRE – FONDAZIONE PRADA (Milano, Largo Isarco 2)

Divided in two areas: the bar and the restaurant.

The restaurant “Torre” just opened on the top of the Fondazione Prada, in a place characterized by the contrast between the big windows with a beautiful view of Milan and the hot colors of the parquet.

The restaurant is furnished with original furnitures of the Four Season Restaurant in New York.

The gastronomic offer of the “Torre” is Italian, with the best regional and traditional recipes.

SHIMOKITA (Milano, via Archimede 14)

Shimokita opened a few week ago in Milan.

This restaurant offers Japanese tapas and original drinks.

It must be soon one of the principal points of the milanese movida.

The owner is the same of the “Canteen” restaurant, the place is underground,

brick walls totally painted with graffiti, neon lights and colorful chairs.

Shimokita is spectacular, kaleidoscopic, it brings you inside a cartoon with the paints of all the manga’s main characters.

The food is fast, easy and “to share”, as the tapas tradition wants.

Tacos, rolls, spiedini, tartare and much more.
