HEALTHY, TASTY AND TAKE AWAY.
This is the Flavors slogan, the first flexetarian restaurant in Milan.
A place shared with a sport wear shop, near the Duomo square.
A big fridge that shows a lot of types of food and beverage.
Two big wooden tables and a chef who makes fresh poké and extracts for the clients.
But what does it mean “flexetarian diet”?
Superfoods, cold pressed juices and steamed vegetables.
We are talking about a “plant based” diet, that can include also meat and fish.
It pay attentions on the raw materials, the cookings and the balanced compositions of the dishes.
Matteo, one of the two owners, explained me the food compositions and the methods of their selections.
Coconut with natural milk, extracts fresh pressed each morning, milk and tumeric, milk and blue spirulina, aloe juice, matcha tea, ecc…
To give flavor to the meals: dried seaweeds, Japanese pepper, mixed oriental spices, soy sauce, sesamo, seeds, homemade sauces.
Their breakfast?
Açai, croissants or whole wheat pancakes with honey and hazelnuts cream.
Their lunch?
Fresh soups, salads, heathy toasts and wraps exposed in the fridge or fresh poké to compose as you want with different types of rice, salmon (fresh or seasoned with lime and sugar), white fish, chicken, edamame beans and much more.
The concept wants to offer tasty products, nutritionally balanced and sometime unusual: a future’s cuisine.
